Philips is a leading electronics company that operates in a global market. They have a clear image and a consistent innovation strategy in product development. Philips wants to increase their consumer electronics market share. Because aging is imminent, the 55+ market is a huge growing market. They asked us to design a smart object for everyday use by this target group.

It was a fictitious assignment that I have worked on with a team during the course CMD (Communication & Multimedia Design). We have designed a digital communication device that’s encouraging the social skills of its user. The device is an easy to carry format, it is in fact retractable. The screen works with digital paper to approach the original reading experience of paper as closely as possible, because this is a requirement for the target group.

I came up with the name, corporate identity and logo of this product, called “Colleghi“, which is Italian for ‘connect’.
